1.0 Release

September 21, 2017

Outfox 1.0: Hello, world. We are Outfox. GLHF. Our many months in beta are coming to a close, and we're thrilled to announce we're officially releasing Outfox 1.0! Thank you to everyone who supported us in beta, and welcome to all our new Outfox users.

Outperform: We've been boosting up and min/maxing all of our server locations for 1.0, making improvements to connection speed and introducing new servers to improve routing for our most-played games.

Stay Connected: Outfox now remembers your login information so you can smash out the competition without worrying about logging in. You can also use the Outfox app to monitor connections and performance in real time for any of our supported games – even after your trial ends or if you simply want to check out what Outfox has to offer.

This Isn't The End: It's just the beginning! We have lots in store for Outfox's future - more games, better performance, an updated app. We're excited about all we have planned as we work to deliver the best optimized gaming network out there.

Introducing the Session Graph: Finally, we have our beautiful live graph ready (to occupy that "Coming Soon" space). Now, during your Outfox session, get a real-time visual update of your Outfox ping compared to your standard ping!

Improved Game Detection: We've improved the reliability of game detection to offer a better experience to all our users.

Crash Smashing and Bug Stomping: We've improved overall stability of the product by fixing some crashes and visual bugs.

Beta Update (0.9.2)

June 27, 2017

New Servers: For this release, we wanted to focus on increasing performance in South America and the western US, so we introduced two new servers in Miami and Seattle! We'll be adding more servers soon, so stay tuned.

Even Better Server Selection: We made some changes to our Fastest Server algorithm to improve automatic server selection.

Need Some Steam Summer Sale Money?: We're guessing "yes!" Take our quick survey about your experience with Outfox and you could win some Steam cash! What are you waiting for? PS: You can also find a link to the survey in our Forum.

Beta Update (0.9.1)

May 30, 2017

Minor Foxes (*Fixes): We've been tackling a number of minor UI issues and small bugs from the beta to make Outfox even better. These include the ping gauge UI, colors and spacing in the UI and improvements to the install and upgrade flows.

Game Updates: We're updating World of Tanks, Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft II to fix some issues causing those games not to connect to the Outfox server (yikes!). We're currently testing PUBG too - get excited!

What Do You Think?: Help improve Outfox AND get a Steam card for doing so! What are you waiting for? Hop on over to the Forum, take our survey, and say "yes" to be contacted for an interview.

Beta Release (0.9)

May 2, 2017

Introducing Outfox!: The team has been waiting to announce this one for a long time. Okay, maybe a few of you already had a sneak peek. We are excited to announce from now on, our optimized gaming network will be called OUTFOX!

B is for Beta: With a new name comes a major new app release, and the beginning of our Beta phase. Outfox Beta launches with a brand new look and feel - we think you're really going to like it.

A E S T H E T I C: In our spiffy new app, we'll show you what Outfox-supported games you're playing and how much we're improving your connection (if we aren't improving it we'll tell you that, too). We have more features planned, including a live graph that shows network performance over time.

Ease of Use: Another major change for the new app is the removal of the off/on button. Just have Outfox running, start a supported game, and we'll connect your games based on a session. Super easy.

Round 1...: For our next supported game, we wanted something that really packed a punch...Street Fighter V!

Outfox Outreach: With our newfound identity and sense of purpose, we have a ton of community efforts planned including tournaments and other events - stay tuned! We still need your input, so keep the feedback coming!
