I use a 32-bit OS (Windows 7 Thin PC) and when I tried to install Outfox it said I need a 64-bit OS to run Outfox. Would appreciate a new version of Outfox.

Planetside 2 has a thriving community and is a large FPS/Mixed combat Strategy game spanning the Americas, Asia, and EMEA. It could really use Outfox.

Hello! Just wondering if you are planning on adding Mac support, and I am posting here to gather interest in the idea. Love the idea and I have only subscribed to VyperVPN initially because of gaming, so it is great that you are developing this further. Keep up the good work!

Like it or hate it Paladins: Champions of the Realm by Hi-Rez Studio is a good game. Some people would go as far as to say that it is the poor man's Overwatch, and in that, I hope this game take that as a compliment. This is a fast paced FPS with Champion like characters that bring their own unique and mostly innovative play styles. This game is clearly made to allow anyone of any skill level to pick up the controller and have a downright good time. But, it does have a major downfall when it comes to matchmaking. In matchmaking, the game does not seem to consider Geolocation or Ping times when matching players. With this beeing an issue many matches do come down to, who has the best ping times. Here is where Outfox could assist many of these players all over to get their best connection to the game servers as possible. I do stress if you have not tried Paladins: Champions of the Realm do to any disinterest or dislike that you try it out. I think that you will have a fun time at no cost to you. https://www.paladins.com/

I think apex legends it's going to be the most played game in 2019 and the game its pretty good right now has much more players than fortnite Will outfox support this game?

I still want to put in a plug for PlanetSide 2. It is a large well established game with servers containing upwards of 6000 players and matches that can have up to 2000 players at any time. Ping can really be a killer in that game.

I think a ddos protection within Outfox would be a key feature for many users (professional players, streamers, Internet cafes ...). Outfox is no VPN but ddos is plagging online games.

Would like to see Battlefield 3 and 4 supported.

Look, I know I'm the Co-CTO and all, but even I have a game that's near and dear to my heart that isn't yet supported by Outfox. In fact, as I was playing it last night with my wife, she said, over Team Speak with a bunch of our other friends, in a very somber voice, "So why doesn't this new product support SWTOR?" If a pin dropped, you'd have heard it. So I'm registering my desire to have SWTOR added to the list of supported games! If you like the idea, like this post! If you have other thoughts on other games, post that game up or find it's existing post and like that post! The more information we have from our engaged audience on the games that are important to them, the more targeted we can be on responding to your desires!

@death.in.next.door, First off, thanks for your post! I'll try to answer as best as I can. Your assumption that Outfox's game-specific support is not dependent on existing knowledge of ALL game server locations is absolutely correct! It is not required that we know every endpoint, routing table, IP space, etc., for a game to support it (however we do learn more about game server locations and IPs over time to reduce the time it takes to execute decision making logic in the app). The main reasons why Outfox is set up currently for game-specific support: 1) We have traffic capture constraints that restrict us to capturing UDP traffic only. This requires us to ensure that a game's online multiplayer session is UDP only prior to supporting the game. 2) Various games have very different behaviors for traffic and we are learning while testing and releasing. Games make many different connections from the client, which can wind up sending traffic to many different geographically placed servers. For example a game might: connect to one server to find a lobby> connect to another server when you are in the lobby> connect to a matchmaking server while you are in a lobby server> connect you to a new server for your actual game, etc (looking at you, Paladins). While this might not impact BF4 if you're dropping into a user-configured private/dedicated server (although it might depending on how the BF4 client behaves), it's still something we need to look at to verify if our connection logic meets a certain criteria. Currently we only connect to one site to direct game traffic, so it might have an impact on latency over time if a game makes connections to many different servers and we are on a server that was determined to be faster by a previous "decision" the app made. 3) We are not designing Outfox with the purpose of being an end-to-end VPN or Proxy solution, but rather to be an easy-to-use application for lowering latency and increasing stability for online gaming. With that in mind, we have been extremely open to identifying common networking scenarios that put gamers at a disadvantage and answering for those as well, in the long term. 4) We test internally, and improve the user experience by identifying the game played and showing a game icon in the Outfox UI. We want to verify that if Outfox supports a game, we are doing the best we can, for as many users as possible, to reduce latency and increase stability for that game, while preventing abuse concerns. Now, here are some of the things that we have considered or planned to help alleviate the strict game-specific support: 1) Traffic capture for TCP (currently planned for work) 2) Custom game support (pick a game binary and allow Outfox to control all traffic for that game to a selected Outfox server) 3) Allowing Outfox to direct traffic through more than 1 Outfox site at a time (without causing disconnections in game) These are just some ideas that we are exploring for the future of Outfox. I hope this helps! -Keegan

@Chupa Cabra Thanks for the input! 32-bit Windows support is on our roadmap, but will not likely be a feature for the beta release. While it's less common to see 32-bit gaming machines, we recognize the need to make Outfox 32-bit compatible for those running things like thin client PCs and such. Stay tuned!

From a purely development angle, I will tell you that we have engineered our solution such that anything which can be platform independent already is. This will make future porting to other platforms much easier because we only have to implement a smaller subset of items for the new platform. The question is whether or not there is enough of a Mac user base looking for this type of solution... If you are, a Mac based gamer, "Like" the original post to show your support for this idea! Thanks! MikeDoug

    1. What's the origin of your forum name? I would normally use vivsavage for my forum name, but alas, I am using my IRL given name But, had I gone with vivsavage, it's a reference to Viv Savage, the keyboardist from legendary rock band Spinal Tap from the infamous rockumentary This is Spinal Tap. 2. First video game you ever played? It's hard to recall, but probably Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt on the NES. 3. What's the last video game you played? Quake Champions 4. Do you have any pets? If so, how many and what kind? I have a dog, Jack. He's a border collie and super smart! I also have 2 birds of my own, but 4 total in the household. Bruce, Lucy, Craig, and Indiana. (Yes, lots of noise in my house sometimes) 5. Cake or pie? Probably pie. (something something the cake is a lie) 6. Star Trek or Star Wars? No contest. Trek all the way. I've seen the original series 3 times through, Next Gen through once, and DS9 once. I couldn't get through Voyager and don't intend to, but I do want to see how Scott Bakula fared as captain one day. I have seen all the original movies, but haven't given the new ones a fair shot. Again, aim to one day. 7. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be? That is an insanely difficult question for me. I have to cheat a bit and pick 1 band. Pretty much anything by Rush. 8. Top 3 favorite movies of all time? I don't have a personal "fave movies" list, so 3 I really enjoy: Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, and The Dark Knight. 9. What are your hobbies (including or outside of gaming)? Camping/backpacking, hiking, and music (That's broad, I know. I collect records, listen to all sorts of genres, and occasionally pick up the ol' geetar) 10. Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses? 1 horse-sized duck.

    1. What's the origin of your forum name? I'm named after a Doctor Who companion. *tardis noises* 2. First video game you ever played? First Ever: Super Mario NES First PC: Probably Mahjong, but really actually played a lot = Ultima Online 3. What's the last video game you played? Heroes of the Storm 4. Do you have any pets? If so, how many and what kind? 2 Dogs & 2 Cats (and too much pet hair to sweep up) 5. Cake or pie? If I must choose, cake. 6. Star Trek or Star Wars? Trek \V/, 7. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be? Andrew stole my answer - Pixies: Doolittle 8. Top 3 favorite movies of all time? Maybe not favorite of all time, but movies I will always stop what I'm doing to watch: Beetlejuice, A Knight's Tale & Belle 9. What are your hobbies (including or outside of gaming)? Bird-watching (yes, really) and historical drama movies/TV/books. 10. Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses? C'mon people, 1 horse-sized duck! (All you need is a Highlander sword and it's over.)

    1. What's the origin of your forum name? In 1994 I was getting my first ever Internet account with a little, ma-and-pa Internet company called Texas.Net. Back in those days Internet accounts were almost always tied to a Unix system with 8 character maximum. I pieced together my first and last name, and now it's not just my forum name, but it's my work name. After 22 years and MANY other Michael's in the office, mikedoug has officially become my name. I could use my SWTOR name, but that would just confuse people around here. 2. First video game you ever played? Oh man... I'd have to go with Ultima III being the one I remember. I became a HUGE Richard Garriott fan from a very young age, so much so that I got into programming because I wanted to make cool games like him. That was in a very different bit-era. 3. What's the last video game you played? Star Wars: The Old Republic - last night. We tried our hand against the new boss Tyth in Hard Mode... He kicked our collective butts... 4. Do you have any pets? If so, how many and what kind? One dog. She takes up half of our bed and my wife and I share the other half. 5. Cake or pie? Pie. I'm gluten free, so cake is usually not in the picture for me. 6. Star Trek or Star Wars? Ahem, I can't even believe this is a question... Is there a significance that I'm making this post on May The Fourth? 7. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be? I'd have one of my wife and daughter singing together and solo and play it on repeat. 8. Top 3 favorite movies of all time? Star Wars Fifth Element Jumping Jack Flash -- don't judge me! 9. What are your hobbies (including or outside of gaming)? I spend a lot of time with my kids doing whatever it is they want to do, and playing SWTOR with my wife and fellow guild mates. 10. Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses? I feel like I could strategize my way out of fighting 100 duck-sized horses while the single horse-sized duck there's pretty much just one way that ends.

    1. What's the origin of your forum name? Well, Cody was given to me by my mother and father... However, if you ever see me in a game or somewhere online you will likely see me as over2take This name came to me while playing my first ever online game Battlefield 1942 almost 11 years ago, clearly taken from the strategic term overtake, and numbers... because numbers. 2. First video game you ever played? Oh boy, that's a hard one. I do not remember a time where there was not a game system in my house as a kid, but our first NES came with Mario bro. and Duck hunter. that would have to be the very first video game I ever played. 3. What's the last video game you played? I played some Battlefield 1 and Conan Exiles just last night. 4. Do you have any pets? If so, how many and what kind? Yes. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats Dogs: Eloise a catahoula leopard dog Lillipup a miniature blue heeler Cats: Penelope Von Sweets a siamese mix Boris Von Jurgens a siamese mix Minniesota a longhair bombay (black cat) 5. Cake or pie? Yet to have one I have not enjoyed. 6. Star Trek or Star Wars? Deep Space Nine and anything after episode three. 7. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be? A Night at the Opera, Queen 8. Top 3 favorite movies of all time? All the classics: Citizen Kane Taxi Driver GodFather 9. What are your hobbies (including or outside of gaming)? Making games and sketching when not playing games. Hunting and fishing if the opportunity arises. Ice skating, and playing hockey. Bowling. 10. Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses? 100 duck-sized horses no question.

Hello! If League is connecting you to a server in Ireland, it is likely because it is the server located closest to you geographically. Outfox, on the other hand, will select the server that will provide you with the cleanest routing to the game server, and therefore lower your ping. I hope this clears up any confusion.

From the Philippines here too, and the moment I installed Outfox the ping from Fortnite immediately went from 200+ to below 80. You guys are doing an amazing job.

Hi there, my english is not that good but I have a great idea and I need your support. This happens: My internet in pretty bad but this application helps me a lot, from 300 to 70 ping on pubg. But there's a problem, I play on my region's server (south american server) but I'm always being paired with chinese people, it is annoying because most of them come to my server to use hacks, I'm never being killed by a non-hacker chinese guy and also the fpp mode doesn't work because I can only play with chinese people and they don't like fpp mode. Why this happen? Simple, it is because the game have a matchmaking by ping system, so when I search for a game it only pairs me with high-ping people(only chinese people, because it detects that I have 300 ping) and I never have the oportunnity to play with south american players. It makes the experience really, really bad, always being killed by a hacker, but always, chinese people only go to other servers to use hacks so there they can't be in legal problems for doing that. How to fix this and make the game enjoyable The way to fix this and make the pubg experience enjoyable is to make the application active the vpn before we search for a match, so we can be paired with low-ping players and not with hackers all the time) I'm not getting any response from the pubg support so this is the only way. We need your help, outfox.

Hello, I have already tested some Game Connection Optimizers. WTFAST, ExitLag, Kill Ping, Tunnel Ping. and multiple VPNS. and Today I am in Outfox and I will stay here, for having liked it enough. I just miss some options like Improve FPS in Games some Settings in registry etc. Like in some softwares I've tested before most had something similar. Mistakes, I'm sorry. I'm using the translator Cheers Obs: I know the program is for the connection. But it would be a differential that if well done could attract more people

Hi there, I'm a stream and a player in Smite and I have tested for about 30 minutes, I received this application today in my mail, so far its really worked for me. I usually get average ~100 ping and with this application I was getting in between 70 and some. I'll tested more and I post my feedback again, until then, good games all! @ProManicx

Hi all! In looking at our lineup for the next game to support during beta, I thought we should give our testers a chance to vote on their favorite. And don't worry, if your favorite game isn't on the list! Just start a thread (or reply to an existing one) with your game request and we'll check it out.

I've been gaming heavily since the late 80's. Every 5/10 years you tend to see a huge momentum shift in what is popular. The formula is almost always the same, an all time great game that perfects what previous games in the genre had been doing. WoW did it to EQ, CoD MW did it to BF2, LoL did it to og DotA, and now you have PUBG doing it to Battle Royale/King of the Kill. All of those games went on to long term sucess with a loyal following. The only problem is they are the apex of the genre. No matter how many games were proclaimed to be the WoW killer, none have come close to their numbers. No matter how much money was thrown at the MMO genre none could ever replicate the sucess. Same with MOBAs. At one point it seemed every major dev team had a moba in the works, none come close to LoL or Dota. I think it would be great to see a big publisher put a spin on the BR genre. I'm just a bit skeptical given the track record. I'd wager PUBG will continue to be the standard, no matter how much money gets thrown at the genre.
